Review and Content Policy

Reviews

• A review must be about a real job the reviewer's company worked on, and it must be honest.
• The same authenticity checks apply to high ratings and low ratings.
• The first reviews on an unclaimed profile are held for an administrator before they publish, whatever the star rating.
• Anyone can flag or dispute a review, including someone speaking for an unclaimed company.
• The reviewed company may post one public reply. Review text is never edited. It can only be removed under this policy.
• Paying for a plan does not change stars, the Trust Score, or whether a review is shown.

Bids

Only a licensed or verified company can submit a bid. Each bidder must confirm the bid was prepared independently and was not coordinated with a competitor on price, who will bid, or who will win. Bid prices and narrative stay sealed from everyone, including administrators, until bidding closes.

Project Address and files

Do not post a homeowner or customer name, or their contact information, in Project Address. Entries show a completion year, not an exact date, and a residential entry cannot be in progress. Anyone can request removal without an account. An owner or occupant can have a residential entry hidden immediately. A private job shows city and ZIP only. Address search is for signed-in members, is rate-limited, and has no bulk export. Do not upload Social Security numbers or full bank details. Chat does not accept a W-9 as an attachment type. Photos of a residential job with a street address must not show house numbers, license plates, people, or security equipment.
